## (a) Notice of Termination — s 117

Under s 117(3) of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), the minimum notice period scales with continuous service:

Under s 119(2) of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), redundancy pay scales with continuous service as follows:

The employee has 6 years of continuous service (at least 6, less than 7 years) → **11 weeks**.

The employer is not a small business employer, so the small business exemption in s 121(1)(b) (which would otherwise excuse redundancy pay) does not apply, and the s 119 entitlement is payable in full.
