The 2024-25 rate was $24.10 per hour. Applying the increase: $24.10 x 1.035 = $24.94, set by the Commission at $24.95 per hour. This is the base hourly rate for an adult employee not covered by an award or registered agreement, before any casual loading.
The body that sets the national minimum wage each year is the Fair Work Commission, through the Expert Panel in its Annual Wage Review.
