There is no single date on which the Labour Day public holiday falls across Australia in 2026.  
The date is set separately by each state and territory, so it depends entirely on where the employee works. Different parts of the country observe the day on different Mondays (commonly in March, May or October).  

A single confident national date therefore does not exist and would be wrong for payroll purposes. Check the public-holiday calendar of the relevant jurisdiction.
