**(a)** Minimum notice of termination (s 117): **4 weeks**  
(Employee has more than 5 years’ continuous service and is under 45 years of age, so the base scale period of 4 weeks applies with no additional week.)

**(b)** Redundancy pay (s 119): **11 weeks**  
(Employee has at least 6 years but less than 7 years’ continuous service with a non-small-business national-system employer; the NES scale therefore requires 11 weeks’ base pay.)
