The employee’s long service leave entitlement is governed by Victorian state law (the Long Service Leave Act 2018 (Vic)), not by a uniform national standard under the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth). Long service leave remains a matter for the relevant State/Territory legislature; the Commonwealth legislation does not displace or replace that State entitlement for national-system employees working in Victoria.
