The Australian national minimum wage from 1 July 2025 (FY2025-26) is $24.95 per hour.

This is the base adult rate for an employee not covered by an award or registered agreement, before any casual loading (equivalent to $948.00 per 38-hour week; the 2025 Annual Wage Review applied a 3.5% increase to the prior rate of $24.10).

The body that sets the national minimum wage each year is the Fair Work Commission (through its Expert Panel's Annual Wage Review).
