**Australian national minimum wage from 1 July 2025 (FY2025-26): $24.95 per hour**

This equates to $948.00 per week for a full-time 38-hour week. It is the base rate for an adult employee not covered by an award or registered agreement, before any casual loading (casual employees receive an additional 25% loading on top of this rate).

**Body that sets it:** The **Fair Work Commission**, through its Expert Panel's Annual Wage Review. The 2025 review increased the national minimum wage by 3.5% (from $24.10 to $24.95 per hour), effective from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2025.
